Chelsey wanted some portraits done for no other reason than “just because”. Indeed, why not? Everyone deserves gorgeous photos in my opinion! We had a lot of fun on this “urban-rural portrait combo”. Chelsey loves horses and was keen on my suggestion of doing some photos at the stable where she rides. We met up with “Sienna” a 16-hand high Trakehner who lives at Valle Vista in Saanich. In search of a nice background, we brought Sienna to a part of the pasture that was new to her. She was very alert and a bit goofy to start, sticking out her tongue and pulling faces. But she quickly got comfortable and let Chelsey pose alongside. Aren’t they both stunning? Thank you to Terry for letting us borrow Sienna, and to Erin for a great job on the makeup!

Hello and welcome to my new photo blog! I am very excited to finally have my blog up and running- I made it to the 21st century, yay! I will be using this blog to share photos of recent shoots, personal work, and well, anything that strikes my fancy!

Please feel free to comment on the posts- I would love to hear from you!

I thought I would start my blog off with a session I did in the summer with Aimee and Kalen. This adorable couple were anxiously awaiting the arrival of their baby and they were as mushy as can be–such a treat to photograph! The little one has since arrived, his name is Moss and he is a sweetie. Stay tuned for his upcoming portrait!
