I finally found some time to blog this fun wedding from the summer! Yay!
What I really enjoy about weddings is that no two are alike. Some people might disagree with that statement: all weddings have a ceremony, family and friends gathering, and some kind of celebration or reception, right? True, but all couples are different and I love it when they make their wedding unique to them! Lorieann & Josh did just that. They were married at the beautiful Beach Club Resort in Parksville, BC and after the ceremony, they made there way to Cathedral Grove, a place of special meaning to them. There they enjoyed a picnic with the wedding party (which included Lorieann’s four sisters as bridesmaids!). They got looks from several passersby and tourists took the opportunity to photograph them as well….it’s not every day you see an entire wedding party picnicking amongst some of the largest old-growth trees on Vancouver Island! Lorieann and Josh’s wedding was such a great reflection of their appreciation for nature. Lorieann and Josh, thank you for having me join you on your special day! I was thrilled to be there, to work with you, and capture your wedding in photographs. And thank you to Roseanne of Orange Passion for inviting me as the second photographer for the day. It was a blast!
